Making a Difference
We are committed to Glorifying God by empowering and equipping individuals, families and villages to do the work of ministry while creating life-changing results within the African community.
Founded in 1992, Christian African Leadership Ministries (C.A.L.M.) is a small 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Birmingham, Alabama.
C.A.L.M.’s mission is to provide Christian higher education and leadership development training so that underserved individuals in Africa can learn valuable skills and become self-reliant.
Education and training are key to the mission, which is why the primary purpose of C.A.L.M. is to support East African Christian College (EACC) in Kigali, Rwanda.
EACC offers programs in education, theology, midwifery, nursing, early childhood education, and business. EACC equips students to work and lead in their local communities and serve as agents of transformation in Africa.
